Boxing Gaming Content Creators: Let's Come Together And Make Our Voices Count!
I'm inviting boxing videogame content creators, streamers, reviewers, podcasters, competitive players, and independent gaming commentators to join me on Poe and the Community Speaks... Podcast & YouTube for an open, serious discussion about the future of boxing videogames.
Whether you support EA's Fight Night, SCI's Undisputed, or neither, your perspective is welcome.
Offline gamers, online competitors, Career Mode enthusiasts, Creation Suite supporters, arcade fans, and realistic/sim boxing fans all have different expectations. No single group represents the entire boxing gaming community.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO DISCUSS?
Realistic/Sim vs. Arcade: Why should developers prioritize one approach while limiting options for others?
Offline vs. Online: Are developers giving both communities the depth, independence, and attention they deserve?
Career Modes and Creation Suites: Why aren't customization, management, authenticity, and long-term replayability greater priorities?
Gameplay Innovation: Where are the advancements in boxing intelligence, footwork, defense, officiating, inside fighting, and authentic boxing mechanics?
Developer Accountability: Who determines what boxing fans want? Are publishers and developers listening, or substituting their preferences for ours?
Community Representation: Why should certain content creators, competitive players, or influencers be treated as the voice of everyone?
Consumer Influence: How can we organize community feedback, independent surveys, and specific demands that publishers and investors cannot easily dismiss?
MY INVITATION TO CONTENT CREATORS
Bring your opinions, criticisms, experiences, disagreements, and solutions. Let's have roundtable discussions, respectful debates, and honest conversations without protecting companies from legitimate criticism.
You don't have to agree with Poe. You don't have to support the same game. You only need to be willing to discuss what the boxing gaming community deserves.
We have to stop accepting the claim that developers already know what we want! Publishers and developers can override community preferences to pursue their own creative and commercial priorities.
But a community that comes together, identifies its expectations, and speaks collectively can put meaningful pressure on publishers, developers, and investors to accommodate the different fanbases that support their products.
If you're a boxing gaming content creator and want to participate, comment below or reach out directly. Let's get multiple voices on one platform and have the conversations that need to happen.
