Open Letter to Showbiz the Adult – Speak Up for Boxing Video Games

[Open Letter to Showbiz the Adult – Speak Up for Boxing Video Games]

Dear Showbiz,

As someone who has supported you since day one and consistently recommended your content to others in the boxing community, this comes from a place of respect and loyalty. You've been a key voice in boxing media—one of the few with charisma, knowledge, and reach. But with that influence comes responsibility, especially now when the sport’s video game representation is on the line.

We need you to speak up more openly and critically about the state of boxing video games—particularly the development of Undisputed. A lot of fans are growing concerned that your silence on the game’s shortcomings is because you’re “hostage to a check.” That perception is spreading. And it's hurting not just your credibility, but the movement to get a realistic boxing simulation game that truly respects the sport and its fans.

I’m not writing this for clout, likes, or views. I’m writing because I care. I’ve messaged you before—years ago—with genuine support and never got a reply. That’s fine. But this time, it’s bigger than just me. It's about being the unbiased voice on the inside—the one with access, insight, and the platform to hold developers accountable while still supporting the potential of what boxing games could be.

You don’t have to burn bridges. You just have to be real with us. The same way you’re real about judging fights, scoring rounds, and calling out corruption in boxing—bring that same energy here. A lot of fans want to believe in you, but they also want you to stand with us when it matters.

The boxing video game community is filled with passionate people fighting for better. Be one of them. You were built for this role. Please don’t go quiet now.

Sincerely,
A Day One Supporter
